A grave spray is a flat piece, worked on one side only, made to lie flat on a grave or a stone. It is the most discreet of the funeral pieces.
Oval or teardrop, it follows the width of a headstone. Its low build stands up to wind better than a piece worked upright — which matters for a composition left outdoors.
For laying on a grave, for All Saints’ Day, for an anniversary of a death, or when the plot does not allow an upright piece. It suits every tie, close or distant.
The ribbon is optional here more than elsewhere: many grave sprays are laid without a word. If you want one, the field is there.
