Here you do not pick a bouquet from a list: you describe one, and a florist builds it. Four indications are enough.

The colour

One dominant colour, and a second if you wish. It governs the whole: the varieties of the day are chosen to serve it, according to what the market brings. A single family — warm tones together, pastels together — gives a softer bouquet than a sharp contrast.

The shape

The round bouquet is dense and even; it sits anywhere and reads from a distance. The country bouquet lets stems and grasses run free: it looks gathered rather than composed, and takes up more room for the same number of flowers.

The foliage

Eucalyptus carries the volume and the scent. Single, it accompanies the flowers; double, it becomes the material of the bouquet and changes its bearing as much as the number of stems.

The amount

You say what you wish to give, and the florist composes as closely as possible to it. It is the only bouquet in the shop where the budget is your starting point rather than a choice among sizes.
