These three pieces belong to the closest family. They differ by the exact place where they rest, and that is what should guide the choice.

The cushion

Square or rectangular, worked solid and domed. It rests on the coffin, alone or beside another piece. Its even surface carries a ribbon inscription well.

The cross

Built on a frame, it stands against the coffin or lies on it. Its height is given on the page; it is the height, not the number of flowers, that decides the room it takes.

The coffin spray

It covers the coffin along its whole length, worked to fall over the sides. It is the principal piece of the service, the one that accompanies the coffin from beginning to end.

Place and time

These three are set out before the family arrives. Give the exact address — church, crematorium, funeral home — and the time of the service: the delivery is arranged around it.
